Elliott comes to Spain! June 13-July 6, 2012

How things change with time! I was 16 years old when I first flew across the Atlantic, Jen was almost 9 but Elliott took his first long haul at just under 9 months! Here he is with Jen heading to the playground by the Hotel Colon, at the beach. As you can see, he is wearing his favorite hat!

Supper al fresco:




On Saturday, June 16th, we drove to Cornudella de Montsant to visit the Castan family and stay overnight in the local B&B there. The boys, Joan and Oriol, were very excited to find their old baby pool for Elliott and had it all ready for him to splash in!
















This was the first time we have been here in summer, with the family enjoying the pool in the back yard!




After a delicious BBQ lunch, we went to visit a local organic winery, Mas Siren, close to the village. Elliott stayed up WAY past his bedtime but managed to hang in there with the big boys!
The following morning, we drove up to Siurana to show Jen the view and to enjoy a coffee in the village:
























From there we went to Tarragona for a pizza lunch and a walk around the Roman ruins:
