A nasty storm blew up on our last night on Corsica, bringing high winds (100km/hr) and heavy rains. We were glad to have decided to hunker down in our hotel room with a picnic supper (mainly because there were no nearly restaurants!). The high winds made for a REALLY rocky crossing from Ajaccio back to Marseille overnight on Easter Sunday. It was less than pleasant, to say the least! The pitching and tossing continued until about 2 am, at which point we felt more of a calm on the sea and were able to get some sleep.

A very pleasant week on an interesting and spectacular Mediterranean island...we were glad to have had the chance to visit it!
